Welcome to The Covenant, a community inspired by the great nation of Abyssinia and the town of Lalibela. We’ve taken inspiration from the magnificent rock-hewn church of St. George, which is a true architectural feat and a testament to the ingenuity of the people of Ethiopia.

At The Covenant, we believe in the power of our history, and we’re proud to offer a community that’s rooted in the traditions and values of our ancestors. Ethiopia has a direct lineage that’s traceable for thousands of years, and we’re honored to be a part of a proud nation that inspires Africans who are proud of themselves and understand their history.

The Covenant is more than just a community – it’s a covenant with the continent. We believe that anyone who acquires land in the motherland has made a covenant with Africa, and we’re proud to offer a community that embodies this covenant. Our goal is to redefine the word “covenant” and to show that it can be associated with positive, life-affirming values.

When you visit The Covenant, you’ll be struck by its grandeur and magnificence. In the early morning, the dew that surrounds our community creates a truly magical atmosphere. We’ve incorporated the crosses that are seen all over Ethiopia and at the St. George church, and our roads have been created 5ft wider than normal to reduce density and promote a sense of openness.

The Covenant is our first community to feature specified commercial plots and a significant communal space for a future wellness site. We believe that leisure and recreation are essential to a happy and healthy community, and we’re proud to offer a space that’s funded by all of our community members. Whether you’re looking to relax, exercise, or simply connect with your neighbors, The Covenant has something for everyone.
